Simple and spot on recipe of Konda Kavum | ලේසි පහසු කොණ්ඩ කැවුම්


My mother and  mother in law were not into Konda kavum.  They did not know how to make Konda kavum properly. 

Therefore, I had no one to learn this konda kavum. Last couple of years i was trying several Konda Kavum recipes online and It was not what i was looking for...! This is the very first time i got through with it....
After many failed recipes of Konda Kavum, I found the right recipe I would say...  This is spot on. It  makes soft and delicious Konda kavum at the end. 
In this way of making konda kavum, make life easy to get the konde with less hassle. 

I am sharing with you guys the same and I may use the same method in future as well. 

All you need 
1 Cup of Rice flour (Soak 1hr, drain and grind it, sift and leave it sometime before use in kavum)
1 Cup of Plain flour 
1/2 Cup Treacle ( I used Kist Kithul Treacle )
1/2 Cup Sugar
250 ml Water  (Around, Depends to the consistency, So add gradually)
Salt | Cardamom | Vanilla 
Oil to fry

Key points
-Mixtures have to be in room temperature when combine
-Add water gradually to get the right the consistency
-Leave the mixture to rest 30 min
