  • 3 tbsp butter (room temperature)
  • ½ cup luke warm milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp dry yeast
  • 1 ½ cups plus ¼ cup all purpose flour

  1.  Dissolve yeast in luke warm milk. add sugar into it. leave it in a warm place for 10min.
  2. Combine butter, salt, egg white and ½ cups flour together.
  3. Add dissolved yeast to the flour and butter mixture.
  4. Knead it for 10min.
  5. leave it in a warm place for 40-60 min. (yeast activate at the temperature of 70'C) What I did, I left my oven on at 100'C for 2min and I covered the dough and kept it in the oven.

Make sure to control the temperature if you exceed 70'C. Your yeast will RIP. ha ha haha 😭

According to research, egg, butter can slow down the function of yeast. If your dough doesn't double in size, leave it for another few min. and control the temperature.
  6. Take your dough and add 1/4 cup all purpose flour and knead it again to remove the air inside of the dough.
  7. Make small balls from the dough and place on the baking tray.
  8. Leave again in the warm place for 60min.
  9. Egg wash and bake it for 15min at 180'C
