Ingredients:
Chili Powder 1tbspTurmeric Powder 1/2tbsp
Salt and paper to taste
Curry powder 1tbsp
Indian masala powder 2tbsp
Tomato Puree 200ml
Large Onion 2
Garlic Cloves 5
Curry leaves 10
Bay leaves 1
Cardamom pods 2
Cloves 2
Cinnamon powder 1/2tbsp
Butter 4tbsp
Water
Method:
1 step- Chicken marination with chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, paper, Sri Lankan Curry powder and some tomato puree (Add all spices according to your taste)
2 step- Butter to fry large Onions, chopped Garlic cloves, Curry leaves, Bay leaves, Cardamom pods, Cloves, bit of Cinnamon
3 step- Half way through the frying add chili powder, Turmeric powder, Indian Masala powder. Add tomato Puree (Medium flame) mix well and make a thick paste. You can add the little water into to make it thick. fry the paste until the oil start separating
4 step- Add Marinated chicken and water, Let your chicken cook properly.
5 step- Then add washed Basmati rice and enough salt to taste and yogurt with little water to cook rice.
(Don't forget the chicken gravy already included some water so add water into rice accordingly)
